Work Experience:
Well done to all Year 10 pupils who have completed work experience this week. Mrs Jewell visited all of them at their work placement.
Activities Week:
Year 11 entertained staff at a candlelit dinner on Wednesday evening and they prepared the three course meal during the day. They undertook a range of activities including skating, golfing and pottery decoration during their final week at St Piran’s.
Farewells:
Our first Year 11 class leave St Piran’s today. We wish them every happiness in their future studies and on their chosen career paths, they have been trail blazers for the secondary phase and have been outstanding role models for the whole school.
We are also saying “Goodbye and Good Luck” to pupils from Year 6 who are moving on to other schools and to Jenifer Nicklin in Year 1.
We say “Good Luck and do put your feet up!” to Miss Chapman as she goes on maternity leave. This is also Mrs Bell’s last day at St Piran’s, she has given outstanding service to the school and she will be sorely missed by us all. I am sure that we will all continue to enjoy meeting Mrs Bell when ‘Surf’s Up’ and the kettle is boiling at Sunset Surf.
We look forward to seeing all pupils upon our return to school on Monday 6th September 2010. I hope that you all have an enjoyable holiday and return to school refreshed for the new academic year.
Best Wishes
